Our new home, Bella Vita, is a 2-bedroom villa on a tiny 380-square-metre block in Toowoomba. It’s within a fabulous supportive community with many shared facilities and experiences.
I’m looking forward to telling the story of our progress as we create a biodiverse micro-homestead brimming with edibles to nourish our bodies.
This is our gorgeous Cavoodle, Monty, enjoying the view from our bedroom on our first night here in February 2025.
As a timeless cultural philosophy, Bella Vita celebrates life’s simple pleasures:
We embrace biodiversity and strive to live in harmony with the natural world, with the belief that love has the power to transform.
In our garden, creativity, wellbeing, and community are at the heart of everything we do.
Together, we cultivate a sanctuary, a space that nourishes and nurtures, where peace, connection and beauty truly flourish.
Bella Vita will become a sanctuary of sustainability, stewardship, and serenity, woven through three aspirational themes.
A productive, climate-wise landscape that sustains both people and planet.
A place of care, cultivation, and continuity.
A haven for human connection, creativity, and quiet retreat.
